This webinar, the second part of our social media webinar series, will explore how council members and employees use or abuse social media and how a local authority can exercise control. Coinciding with the release of the LLG Guidance on the Use of Social Media, the webinar will include the improper sharing of information by councillors, commenting on political activities, sharing of social initiatives, bullying and the duty of care towards staff, reputational risks, interception of communications and the IT policy, and the policies for the management of staff behaviour on social media.
